When I visited Namibia as a part of an Earthwatch trip, most of our work was based in the Etosha National Park.
Etosha National Park consists of a large salt pan surrounded by various habitats and supporting large numbers of wildlife, with ideal opportunities for photography - you can drive your own car around and stop wherever you like - on the road of course!
There are a number of lodge areas in the park, offering both rooms and camping areas, each with its own particular features.
The largest of these is Okaukuejo, which has a floodlit waterhole offering excellent wildlife viewing and photography.
